I was super impressed with Crystal the moment she contacted me. She was so polite and well mannered. She was much wiser than her teenage years would suggest.
I have been really lucky with my seniors this year!
Crystal was an old pro in front of the camera, don’t let her tell you she was nervous! Being Miss Gurnee in 2011 gave her plenty of opportunities to have her picture taken I am sure.
So sit back and get to know Crystal a bit better! And if you are a senior this year (or even a member of the Class of 2014) contact me now to get on the books for a fantastic senior portrait experience.
What has been your proudest moment in high school so far
My proudest moment was winning 4th place at Nationals in a Future Business Leaders of America competition. My competition partner and I had dedicated countless hours to our project, and it was so exciting to see all the hard work pay off!

I’ve wanted to be a teacher since I was five, and I’ve never changed my mind. I plan to teach high school government or history, and maybe run for public office someday.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
I love to travel, so this is a hard question, but I’d probably choose Alaska. It’s beautiful, and there’s a lot to explore.
What are your plans after high school?
I plan to study Secondary Education and Political Science at Marquette University. I also plan to go on mission trips and study abroad while in college.
